Behind the Lens

Life is better behind the lens. I get to be myself, the fun, outgoing, goober that does whatever it takes to capture the true essence of a person, couple, or family. Jessica said it well:

It’s my honor and privilege to be a storyteller. Some do with by writing (similar to what I am doing here), while other do it by speaking, painting, acting, singing, or crafting. My preferred methodology of storytelling is photography. I have enjoyed it for over 14 years and will continue to do so as long as I am able.

When Covid-19 hit in 2020, many brides had to cancel, reschedule, or readjust their weddings. I was fortunate enough to work with most of my couples and reschedule their weddings days. However, there were many betrothed couples across Tennessee that had to find new vendors for their wedding. That is how I met Tori and Danny. She recounts her experience below.

What’s Next?

The future is bright for Fyke Photography. For the past three years (2019-2021), I have been awarded Best Wedding Photographers in Knoxville by expertise.com. In 2020 I received the Couples’ Choice Award from Wedding Wire and this year was given the Best of Weddings honor by The Knot!
